Creator Story

Jackie Knowles is the owner, designer, and creator behind Glasswork Pixie LLC. She learned the art of glasswork from her father while growing up in a small New Jersey beach town, and later combined and honed her affinities for product design and artistic exploration while attending the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering along with concentrations in Fine Arts and Mathematics.

After nearly a decade working in the technology consulting industry while developing Glasswork Pixie on the side, she transitioned to a full-time career of glasswork in 2021, and is grateful to now spend every day bringing her creativity to life by constructing products that enhance the lives of others through both aesthetic and function.

Jackie prioritizes product quality above all else.
Through her perfection-seeking techniques, extensive QA processes, and use of premium materials, she strives to provide clients with pieces that are not only exquisitely beautiful, but are also built to endure through generations.
